Reds10 raids house builders for two director hires


The twin appointments of regional operational directors come after four years of growth capped by revenue rising by 70% to £143m last year.

New director of operations in the south of England, David Newey, brings 17 years of experience to the expanding firm which has built growth mainly on education, health and some Ministry of Justice and defence sector projects.

He started at Berkeley Group quickly progressing to become project director at housing developer Anthology, where he managed residential projects with construction values between £50m and £80m. Most recently he worked as regional development director at Anthology’s parent company Lifestory Group.

James Bateman joins as new director for projects in the midlands and north of England. He brings nearly six years of experience as head of construction at social landlord A2Dominion Group, where he led a large team responsible for the delivery of homes in London and the Southeast.

Newey will be based at Reds10’s Head Office in London and Bateman will be based in Yorkshire, where Reds10 houses its MMC manufacturing facilities.
