Mattamy Homes Earns Four Top Awards in Suncoast 2025 Parade of Homes

The Maya at Brightmore took home two awards: the coveted “Best Overall Multi-Family Home” and “Best in Category-Multi-Family (4 Units or Less).” The Oceangrove II at Lakespur, which just opened in February, earned “Best in Category-Multi-Family (More than 4 Units),” and the Red Rock at Windwater took “Best in Category-Single-Family.”

During the March Parade event, the Suncoast Builders Association showcased more than 120 homes throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. More than two dozen leading homebuilders presented their model homes with the latest in new home designs, technology and energy efficiency.

Mattamy’s Lakespur and Brightmore designs are among the array of distinctive new home offerings in Wellen Park, the award-winning master-planned community in Sarasota County.

The Maya villa appeals to homebuyers who want low-maintenance living, comfort and convenience, with Mattamy’s signature open-concept floorplan.

The kitchen and island overlook the seamlessly adjoining dining room and Great Room. The 1,574 sq. ft. multi-family home provides the flexibility today’s buyers want, with a flex room that can be used as a private study, crafts room or personal fitness studio. The owner’s suite, situated on the first floor, adds convenience and privacy. The covered lanai adds to the living area and takes advantage of Florida’s enviable year-round weather.

The Oceangrove II at Lakespur, at 1,721 sq. ft., is the largest coach home available in the community. The two-bedroom, two-bath floorplan features a flex room convertible to a third bedroom, study or den. The light-filled open-concept Great Room, dining room and kitchen are perfect for family time, a quiet retreat or entertaining guests. A covered and screened balcony adds even more space.

The Red Rock at Windwater, located in Parrish, Florida, offers style, versatility and luxury in a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home that stretches across 3,057 sq. ft. The spacious, light-washed open-concept design features a Great Room and dining room, with the island kitchen overlooking the living area. The home’s centerpiece opens to the covered lanai.

“We are honored by the Suncoast Builders Association’s awards,” said Bob Meyn, President of Mattamy’s Tampa Division. “At the same time, our talented team deserves the kudos for their dedication to creating homes and lifestyle communities our customers want.”
