London council unveils £150m housing estate revamp plan

The De Beauvoir New Homes Project aims to deliver up to 341 homes alongside commercial space and sweeping public realm upgrades. Around 45% of the new homes will be affordable, including around 90 for social rent.

Targeting ten infill plots within the existing estate, the scheme will transform underused land around the 1960s-built towers, which currently house 870 flats.

Firms are invited to attend a contractor briefing and estate walkabout on 12 June at Reliance Wharf ahead of invitations to tender this autumn.
